BLACKSHEAR, GA - A Pierce County school bus driver was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (pending blood tests) while on route with children on board Monday morning.
Thomas Franklin Walker Sr. is the driver, currently in custody of the Blackshear Police Department, who reportedly drove erratically, deviated from normal course, and even let children off improper locations.
One child was so frightened that he demanded that Walker let him off the bus, and Walker did. This child contacted parents whom reported the incident with Blackshear Police.
There were no injuries or accidents involved in the incident, thankfully.
